I'm a pretty big fan of, train and watch alot of kickboxing and muay thai. I understand and respect the ground game, but for whatever reason its not really my thing. I find that alot of the striking in mma is not very technical and tends to look alot like newbies look like when sparing for the first time. fighters often dont use combinations well and for example dont set up kicks using their hands. Thiago Alves's striking was very technical and I enjoyed watching that.

Did you watch the Audinwood/Makdessi undercard fight? Not brilliant but I thought it was a fun fight to watch.
I thought the GSP/Koscheck fight was good too. Bit repetitive given it was 5 rounds, bit some nice stand up.
I liked the Thiago fight as well, and while not much to it, I was happy to see Danzig win his fight.

Overall I thought it was a good card.
