they started using skram in early 2000s or 2005? ish to get away from it being labeled the same as the shitty stuff that is labeled that

I don't get mad at people for using those terms. Depending on who i am hanging out with i will use skram just cause it is hilarious.

Yeah talking about genres whatever. basically punk music is cool. People create / start saying they are other genres so they aren't associated with previous bands in that category. ie hardcore punk of the 80s saying they were hardcore cause they didn't follow the trends of the previous "punk" crowd.

There will be labels whenever. whatever. I enjoy the tunes. no matter how stupid the label skramz, emo violence, amazingcore, mysterious guy hardcore, etc
