Re: Sled Island 2011
Ended up at some sled island house shows last year. Not my crowd so I wasn't into it but if you can get down with it, it looks like a party.

Hmmm...Sleep and the Buzzcocks? That's almost worth going on it's own...when is this?

You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.
Re: Sled Island 2011
I'll be in Calgary for this for sure. I might just go to the after parties though depending on how much it costs to get into individual shows. Presale wristbands are $165, that's way too much for me.
Re: Sled Island 2011
I'd be into seeing Blonde Redhead and the Buzzcocks the most from the bands announced so far.

Re: Sled Island 2011
yea i need to jump on this "cheap" presale price because its only gonna go up. but i cant until i see some solid dates posted for it. but with the festival itsself, and all the cheap "freelandia" shows that will be going on this is totally worth it

Re: Sled Island 2011
the atmosphere around this fest is really appealing to me compared to victoria's rifflandia. if i had the time i would definitely go over to this fest. also a lot of free stuff going on too.

Braids are great!
Re: Sled Island 2011
Oh man! Alberta Cross?
Kyle if you don't go see Alberta Cross when you go I'll be so disappointed.
Wish I could go, but between vacation in April and a Road trip in August it just isn't in the cards.
Damn you music festivals.
