given that i was lead to expect "stupidly fast grindcore" yes it was, in fact i heard more "chugga chugga" breakdowns and/or cheesy "experimental metal" riffs than i did rad blastbeats in that little sampler thing.

As Mike Alexander once wrote in his Born Dead zine way back when I was a shitkid, "the snare tone is like a dentist drill in my brain". Shit is playyyyyyed, son. Reminded me of the Price Is Right "you win" bell - DINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING. Some solid riffs though.
