I think the whole episode is on you tube, divided up into a few parts.
As for record collecting, I don't totally understand my obsession with it either. Part of it has to do with it being an actual physical representation of the music, part of it has to do with enjoying the sound quality more and the rest of it is weird punk rock metaphysics that I still haven't quite entirely wrapped my head around.
And I guess it's unfair for me to say that records should always come before girls. I don't care if your a girl, guy, or hermaphrodite, anybody who tries to withhold or make me choose between them or my records is going to lose every time. People come and go, but my awesome one sided About To Snap 7" with the super cool Children Of The Corn graphic screen printed on the B side will always be there for me.
