slow start to the night, sunset room's sound was awesome but the rest of it sucked. thanks for going through so many hoops kay!

sunset room show was fun, mad respect to kay for making it happen despite all the bullshit that occured with trying to secure a venue. campbell river show ruled way too hard, every band killed it, solid turnout (open relationship played to the most people but there was a consistent group of 40-50 intently watching the whole thing) great times all around.

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong! I hope this is the worst show I ever put on! I learned a lot though and I still had a rager of a weekend.

Huge thanks to Tyler T and his parents for having everyone hang/crash at their house.

40-50 people was perfect cos I'd never done a show at that venue myself before. My favourite part was probably the Hundy Thou dance pit. I'm glad people jumped on that 30-something christian crackhead jerk before I unleashed much rage. And like I said, rentacops can suck my ass.
It was super fun to have such a big, diverse bill. Hopefully having bills smaller than 7 bands it will mean they only hire one security guard, like before.

What really got me was how the rent-a-cops just stood there while we broke up the fight. What were we employing them for anyway?
