Blade Runner
Halloween
I can't remember specific titles but basically anything where innocent people with strong personalities who really wanted to accomplish something and put all their effort into it only to be really unfairly thwarted by some evil presence... that shit bugged me a LOT

Harshdad. Candyman is insane when you think about everything that cumulatively happens in that movie. I feel the same way about Pet Semetary.ebony wrote:my dad made me watch candyman when i was 7.
For me, it had to be E.T. That was the WORST. We probably rented that about 6 or 7 times and I'd watch the ships coming down in the forest and run out of the living room.
If you guys like scary movies that make you feel uncomfortable afterwards, I highly highly recommend Paranormal Activity, particularly if you are into The Exorcist, demons, the occult, etc.
One of the most well-paced, tense, brilliantly simple thrillers in the past decade. Funny Games is also high up there for me. If I saw either of those when I was 7 or 8.. Jesus.

I don't recall which Ernest goes to BLAH BLAH BLAH movie it was, but the one where he has the dream sequence where his bicycle needs surgery and he's all, "Give it to me straight doc!" and the doctor pulls down his mask and he's a CLOWN and he starts laughing all evil like and then the bicycle gets tortured, like with flames and shit. Man, I watched that when I had a babysitter and couldn't sleep for a WEEK.

I could be wrong, but that sounds more like Pee Wee's Big Adventure. Been a while since I saw tha movie, so I could be wrong.

No worries. That movie ruled and I used to watch it incessently when I was a kid. Oddly obssessed with Pee-Wee's Playhouse when I was younger, as well. Used to get up super early on Saturday's to watch it.
