I just got back into Fallout 3, gonna buy Demon's Soul's soon when I get paid. Fallout 3 is good but I get bored after like half an hour of playing it. It's just so...desolate and empty everywhere.

i remember when i was 12 playing d2 single player and not realizing because i was only single player i leveled so slow. I guess you can turn it up somehow, so the monsters are beefed up as if there were 8 players on.. man.. getting to level 77 or something like that SUCKEd. then playing on bnet and being rushed to 99 in 2 weeks... fuck

I never had the patience to get a character further than about level 50 on D2... after you've beaten it on normal what's the point?

D2 was the sort of game that you could play non-stop for months, then one day realize that all it is is a click-your-mouse fest. You stop playing in hopes of finding some better games. A few months later you have this annoying itch in the back of your head: you must play D2! The story of D2 is the story of capitalism bubble-and-burst theory. You play D2 too much, then not at all, etc.

I am crazy stoked for D3.

it was kind of cool in 05/06. I gave up on it after that time period.

Don't get me started on WoW... I was addicted for a couple years, did the whole high end raiding shebang, got bored, quit, then started again, got bored, quit, now I can't get my account to work so I'm forced quit, which in the end is probably for the best.

i play on and off. i have an 80 druid that was healing end game raids but i got bored out of my skull running the same stuff. considering coming back to do the icecrown stuff, and definitely will make a return for the next expansion.

Demon Souls is one of the best games I've ever played. If you're into fierce unforgiving RPGs, than this is for you. It's like the old roguelikes, minus permadeath, but still one of the most difficult games EVER. They weren't going to release it here because North American gamers are a lot less commited and skillful than their Japanese counterparts, but I guess there ended up being enough demand. Play this game if you want to rip your hair out.

Yeah, I keep thinking about buying it, but I know how hard it is, and don't think I'm willing to give the commitment it requires. Also, shelling out 70 bucks is harsh right now.

What system is everyone using to play games on (xbox, playstation, pc, etc.)?
