oh. And I guess I should say something about the show. Uh... I really liked Tempest & Promises, and during Damages quite a few people fell on my feet, but they were awesome too.

it was good to be at a show in victoria, first show ive been to in vic since the fest, saw lots of unfamiliar faces so either im getting old or just really disconnected from this town.

p.s. do promises have a demo yet?

It's cool Hunter, I met a bunch of new people last night too. I think that's pretty rad though!

As for a demo, we have one recorded, but we need to redo the vocals, and we'll probably record gang vocals as well... Then it needs to be mixed & mastered, so ETA is who the fuck knows when.

Decent show, and a great way to pass a Saturday night. I coulda done without Tempest...thought they brought the energy level the other bands were bringing...waaay down. Helluva sweat box in that house...kudos to Tyler and Troy for doing these house shows. All the local bands who play shows at Troyler house this winter should get together and do a benefit next spring...a two night show at Troyler, with the proceeds going to clean their carpets and repair any dinged up walls, etc.

i dont like the sockmosh but those carpets must be getting rough

the show was rad, tempest had some crunchy riffs which i thoroughly enjoyed. and promises just keep getting better and better.
and after seeing the pink kitchen in that house i can't get rid of the image in my head of tyler in an apron, cooking dinner for troy.

maybe we can invest in some old fridge boxes so the floor doesnt get killed when slingshot plays there and we all have to be holding two giant beers.

ill start stockpiling up large sections of cardboard from work

another rad show. axed at howards was fun and has some potential should it continue, promises are a damn good HC band, tempest were fucking loud and epic, i was kinda crashing and burning by the time damages played but they ruled all the same. my feet also got stomped repeatedly throughout the show, i definitely support the idea of either doing a benefit show for the house's carpets at some point or throwing down some kind of a tarp or something over them. when's the next show gonna be?

Axed at Howards-Definite potential, gonna give the tape they gave me a listen. I hope they keep it up and actually get serious, this could be good.

Damages-Fucking destroyed. Can't wait for them to come back.

Definitely needs to be a three band limit at that house, though. We were all just way to thrashed by the time Damages came on. Three seems to be the magic number.
