Party Down was a good show, too bad it got canceled. Would've been nice if it finished on it's own terms.

I saw Rob Lowe doing promo spots for Parks And Rec, I hope they aren't going to expand his role in the show.
Parks and Rec: I dunno I think they're just using Rob Lowe in a lot of promos to try to boost their ratings(which they desperately need to do) because I can't honestly see the show doing that. It is an ensemble comedy show, at least I hope thats not what they do.

Party Down: I thought the Party Down ending was alright for a series finale. Of course I would've loved to see how all the new developments in the characters turned out(Roman's "good script" and Henry getting back into acting) but I def won't complain to loudly about it. I mean it doesn't get absolutely fucked by the cancellation like say Clone High was. The only problem I had was it left things really optimistic, which of course isn't a bad thing , but for how depressing the show got at times to leave all the characters(except perhaps Casey) so high up was kind of weird.

The third season was supposed to be great with Casey and Henry dealing more with their relationship as Henry gets back into acting and Casey not really going anywhere in her life. Ron would be gaining more in the Party Down company and his and Danielle's relationship getting deeper. The season would have been a change from the regular pace but still could've been interesting and I'm sure they would've put some crushing emotional shit in the season. But for all we know everything could've turned to shit for everyone i the Party Down company but we wil never know. Also ABC is making a Party Down rip off that sounds horrendous.

a movie about the portrayal of native americans in cinema, super interesting

key moment is about 25 minutes in when they meet some Navajo elders who were extras in john ford films in the 50's, and they explain how they would go off-script in their dialect during filming and joke around, then they take an excerpt from one of the movies and translate the jokes. sooo goddamn funny

Saw two movies in theatres today: True Grit and Blue Valentine. Blue Valentine might be my favorite film of 2010. I have yet to see Somewhere or 127 Hours though. The ending juxtaposition in Blue Valentine was simply heart breaking. Also don't get me wrong True Grit was amazing as well but it def felt like a mediocre Coen Bros movie(not that there is anything wrong with that!). Gosling got shafted by the Oscars but what else is new.

I also watched Kicking and Screaming. Not the Will Ferrel movie but the one by Noah Baumbach. Amazing coming of age story. so overall a good day for movies

Blue Valentine as a whole got pretty shafted by the academy this year.

I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO SEE KICKING AND SCREAMING FOR So long. Tried to download it for about 9 months i had a torrent going and it never got more than 49.5%

Anyways my video store has it on VHS so excited to watch it. I love Noah Baumbach films.

Blue Valentine was great. I throughly enjoyed it.
127 Hours was okay. I wasn't let down to much from the big hype.
Social Network - what a load of too much hype. It was passable
Black Swan - Another great one. Into Portman's performance
Somewhere - LOVE IT. Sofia's films have improved a lot of the years and this one is no different. Great shots, no needless dialogue. Loved it.

Also who gives a f uck about oscars.

I might enjoy True Grit haven't decided. Will watch eventually

I finally got around to watching this as i LOVE some other Woody Allen movies and i felt i was vastly disappointed. It had some typical allen things that i do like but i feel after the hype of this being one of his best films let me down a lot after seeing it. His film he had come out the year after Annie Hall, Interiors i found to be amazing but was also way more serious.
