i personally loved hardcore fest. ill be better prepared for next year.
last night at the brickhouse i talked to some guy who came over for it and he asked "what was that band who had those foam pizzas...". VILESTYLE.
and when i asked him if he remembered vegan holocaust..he said he was outside for them.
so i beat him up.

Re: your first show ever & the best/worst shows of 2009
well we should obviously try to get to some bands that you do know! also by going to more random shows you learn about new bands / also kind of hear from other people what they have been listening to recently.grungePIG wrote:i know! i just don't really listen to any bands anymore. even at the fest the only band i really knew was voices and that's just cuz they're my friends.dalamar501 wrote:you should come out to more shows. First show ever was Ten Too Late's first(or close to first) show ever at Pandora Projects (BEST VENUE EVER, NO DEBATE RIP)
Best show this year: Every show that had bands without Nick Gibas in them
Worst show this year: Any show with Nick Gibas.

Please please. Don't take this the wrong way. I think, as an event, it was very succesful. Well planned, well played, well attended. It's just my personal opinion: I stupidly paid 30 buxx for a style of music I don't generally appreciate. I didn't mean to speak ill of those involved. I was just let down by the music, as I suppose I was expecting something a bit more... diverse? Really, no disrespect. It was just my unfair expectations. I apologize.Hollow wrote:FANTASTIC WOUND wrote: Worst: HxC fest overall was a shit show. Someone back me up here.
Considering how much time and effort I put into this, along with Ebony, Pauly, Jordan and Troy Lemberg, Honest Dude, 2009, I'm gonna say no. It was a really successful fest, but if you disagree feel free not to come to this years fest, or alternatively to put on one that's better. I mean, you put on a lot of shows, right?

I got your point of view tim. Hopefully this year will be diverse. That is something we want. It is hard to keep it diverse though as you try to get more diverse bands then they drop and you replace them with more of other types of bands. oh well. Any bands you want us to ask just make a suggestion on here and we will hopefully add it to our list of bands we are going to ask.FANTASTIC WOUND wrote:Please please. Don't take this the wrong way. Nah man. Like, I think overall the lineup was awesome for what was advertized. I'm just saying I wasn't able to appeesh, by my own close-minded fault. I feel really bad now. I didn't want to tread on anyone's toes. ;(dalamar501 wrote:I got your point of view tim. Hopefully this year will be diverse. That is something we want. Don't feel bad. You have the right to your opinion, and I really wasn't trying to be sarcastic. I was just saying that no, I thought it was awesome. That's it. To be fair, we DID try and make it diverse, but like Troy said, the stars were just not aligned.FANTASTIC WOUND wrote:Nah man. Honestly, please do suggest bands. We have a large list of bands that we want to ask, so anything will be considered.

They're actually already on our list. We've been trying to get them out here for ages. Anyone else?
