I got a cherry empanada today. man those things are messy. anyone had one? it's like a deep fried pizza pocket filled with boiling hot cherry filling, all tossed in sugar. my fingers were covered in sugar. then the seams started busting. before I knew it, there was cherry filling scalding my fingers. I made room on my tray for the stuff to fall but it kept popping out the sides. by the end, I lost like half the filling and I was covered in cherry filling and sugar. I was wearing a white hoodie too so I had to be extra careful. all in all, it was an amazing combination of delicious and impossible to eat.
