all for the best is having a belated demo release celebration thing. weve gotten a shittin tonne of cds out (thanks to everyone whose picked one up btw!) and hopefully soon there will be more progress in our little project so weve decided to party
its all happening august 20th starting at noon. everyone meet up at the port kells pool in langley (technically its in surrey i guess) and we'll do the afternoon and evening swim, and have a bbq during the cleaning breaks they take. therell be two grills (one meat one veg). after the swimming (pool closes at like 730 or something) we'll head down to our drummers house for a backyard show where we'll debut a couple new songs

Ugh, weekends are a no go for me this month. I took a stat holiday weekend off for hardcore fest, so I just don't feel right taking another weekend off. The joys of restaurant work.

Hope it rules, guys.

Welp, going on 14 years straight of working in the fuckers so...okay? I dunno, it changes from place to place. I really love the place I'm serving at now. Good people, good food, excellent customer base. Plus, it's brand new (just turned a year old) so I get to help shape the direction it goes, which is awesome.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering about, the place you're working at now, not the job in general. That's cool, if you happen to be working next time I'm in town I'll drop by and try the place out.

Punch (at least as I've read on the ABHC board) have confirmed they are not playing their canuk dates now, so best as I know they won't be doing a Van show.
Double check though.

I might stop by and say hi if I can make it work; I will be on the mainland that weekend.
