ebooooooooooony its hardcore fest. all the bands were hardcore bands.

it depends how into the music you are, I suppose. When I went to mdf I stayed for each day in its entirety, and that was 4 days of music. If someone can't stick around for a band they supposedly want to see that is their problem, not the fest's. Kyle, not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with not having the fortitude or desire to stick it out for 2 full days, I certainly was feeling frazzled by the end of each day but I was looking after sound for every single band.

This is the wrong thread to post on, so Troy, be a good mod and make a new one pertaining or something. I guess it just pissed me off that I actually took interest in a current hardcore band (see my post regarding PB on the island), yet I get "out-hardcore'd" by some person I don't even know. I think I've made it very clear that I don't generally like hardcore, yet I still went to VIHCFest on the first day this year, even though I was dying from a flu, to go hang out with my friends who I hadn't seen in a year from Calgary (PB played earlier that day, I believe). I realise "down for the core" is one of those "man up" kind of sayings, but I'm not "down for the core" and I never want to be. Also, if I already don't like the state of hardcore (I'd love to have a serious discussion about this), why should I bother staying for an entire day of it. After seeing 3 hours of bands I already wanted to axe my head in. I'm just being honest.
