I would have loved to come to this, but the store is open until 9PM. Lame, but there's a band playing at Talk's Cheap tonight....so that's fun.

This is definitely one of the things I did last year that I'm the most proud of. Being a part of this was awesome, and I'm sad to leave.

Hunter, it would rule to see you at this.

Everyone that can't make it for work or other related reasons, don't worry about it. Obviously you gotta pay the rent.

Anyone without an excuse, come out. We need at least twelve non-board members to come to this for a quorum to be reached, and if that doesn't happen we can't actually do anything. SO, yeah if you like the fest/shows/other shit we've been doing, come help us out by taking an hour or so out of your day.

Really well. Got a new board for next year set up (Troy is still president, Zach/Pauly/Scott are still co-chairs and Eb is still secretary. I stepped down as treasurer and Tambo was elected in my place). Got two sub-committees started: one to start searching out a possible venue, one to start updating and utilizing vihc.net more. The board was elected to continue operating as the Fest sub-committee for a second year.

This also brings up a good point: anyone can go to those board meetings. They're incredibly dull and tend to revolve around inside jokes, but they're also not a closed forum where certain people make all the decisions. So, Troy: please start letting people know about board meetings. People: if you're interested in being a part of the shows that go on in this town, go to these meetings! This stuff is all for you guys, so get involved.
