Lucero?

Post by Rude Boy Puff »

Did anyone like this band more then 6 days ago?
Do you think theyd be as popular if the gaslight anthem gave up the punk?

I like this band... very soulful
Just came out of nowhere... for me at least.

I've been listening to this band for about six years now. Every album gets better and better.

Probably best to start with No One's Darlins, that's easily their most accessible. Then check out That Much Further West, their S/T, and The Attic Tapes in that order. You won't be disappointed.

You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

I vaguely recall a lengthy discussion about Lucero with Willa, and Zach's disappointment.
Also, I enjoy them.

Willa (lol at how much he is mentioned in this thread) got me into then a couple years ago cause I said all country music sucks. He proved me wrong.

Lucero was pretty much all I listened to on the train to Chicago for burning fight.

Bummed I can't be at the show

Funny side note: if I wasnt jamming lucero I was either trying to get Willa into youth or him trying to get me into metal.

True story. Although I think we found a mid-point with d-beat.

Ugh. Yes, I mean Nobody's Darlings. This will not be the first nor the last time I get a name wrong. Thanks for the heads up. I'm an idiot.

I was going to call him on this as well.

I heard Lucero about 5 years ago and they got me into country music. Saw them last night, although I was way more stoked for Drag The River, who are one of my favorite bands.
