Citizen Grade reunion show Dec. 17th

Hey peeps, Citizen Grade are reuniting on the 17th (I hope I got that date right) for one last show before Darren moves away. Darren currently plays bass in Lush Veg but he rocked the mic in CG. Under appreciated band that I thought were really good. Wish they'd lasted longer, but here's a last chance to see them. Dunno much about the show. It's at the ALF house, and hopefully someone will chime in on who else is playing (I'd guess maybe Lush Veg?).

If Vic folks are coming over that weekend for Graf Orlock I recommend coming a day early to see Citizen Grade.

Citizen Grade was sweet when I saw them at the chateau Noir like 4 years ago. I never even knew they played other shows. But then again I was only 14-15 at the time and didn't really get the notice about most shows.

I'm really happy that we're playing this show with Darren before he moves. Gonna miss that guy. Not stoked this as at the alf house (*side-sips a very old haterade*).

For the Langleys, Citizen Grade in one of their earlier incarnations once played Ethical Addictions, as well as some Christmas cheer gettogethers at the legendary Chandy's. *gettin sentimental*

god I hated EA. They had a decent smoothie their but Mcburney's always had the way better smoothies and it was only down the street. But the people that hungout at both places irritated me.

I used to love Separate The Magnets back in the day. And for a long time I considered it to be on of the few records that stood out from a bunch of other stuff from that era which is mostly dated crap. Sadly, I listened to it a couple months back and I hated it. Doesn't hold up at all for me, it is just dripping with bad late 90's 'screamo' cheese, and the lyrics are preposterous.

Side note. I am pretty sure I bought either the 10" or CD of this record from your distro back in the day.

Im not so cool, while hating Grade I was most likely jamming Thursday's Full Collapse and Taking Back Sunday's Tell All Your Friends. I think it was more the side burns, elvis cut and for fuck sake using an old school mic does not make you cool it makes you a douche and goddamn it take your hand from behind your back wes.
That is all.

I might agree with you on this now. I havn't listened to STM in years, but I have fond memories of that record.
