I remember posting a thread about this very issue and being all "this is so dumb. tegan and sara, fuck off, stop coping." Now I don't give a fuck. A flag is usually surrounded by blind nationalism and chest beating, and if that's what you've started to do with a punk band logo, to the point that a joke is blasphemy, you might as well goose step.

also warren/darren the shirt is proving more difficult than i thought (jelly donuts are harder to canvey in drawing) so if another artist is interested yo might want to try them as its taking me too long. I'll keep trying though.

While I don't agree with the over the top generalizations you made, count me as one of those people that used to be "offended" by this sort of thing and then just realized it wasn't that big of a deal. I think it has more to do with not letting myself get upset by things I have no control over than it does with nationalism, but whatever. It is what it is.
