This is a really great interview with one of the people I admire most in hardcore. Anyone who isn't aware (and shame on you for that), Dan Yemin was the guitarist in Lifetime, Kid Dynamite, and now is the lead singer for Paint it Black. Check out some of the best that hardcore has to offer.

dude is so backed. seeing him call out his own bandmate for saying something about being gay was one of the funniest show moments i've ever had. i can't remember his exact words, but it was something like "yeah, i like sucking dicks and i'm really good at it". i can't really hang with the more recent paint it black lp, but that first ep is GREAT. no comment on lifetime or kid dynamite.

honestly i was pretty drunk so i don't recall the exact details. i think the bandmate had said something jokingly about the blue jays and homosexuality, and dan pretty much put him in his place, but in good humor of course.

zach were you there????? i cant remember. it was a pretty weird lineup for a show. cold world, paint it black, diemonds (AWFUL band despite the no warning/rammer connection), i cant recall if there were any other bands.

Nope, I've never seen Paint It Black and I wasn't even aware of Diemonds until now.
