because I'm forgetting some. I got the smilies in for Willa. I enabled board code within signatures for the other half of Troyler. getting youtube videos to work was NOT as simple as "enabling it" - phpbb does not have a default youtube tag. I modified the board software with a custom tag though now, so this should work. hover your mouse over to find out how, it's by all the other tags.

FOR YOUTUBEID:
you just put the video ID between tags. the video id is in the URL after "v=" in any youtube video. so, for something like....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yhd-dpC_7o
you would put between the youtubeid tag:
8yhd-dpC_7o

example:


the code: FOR YOUTUBEURL
you just put the youtube URL (the one that is on the video page by URL above Embed, not the one in your browser, since that might have extraneous code that could screw up the post in here. so for something like...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yhd-dpC_7o
you would put between the youtubeurl tag:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yhd-dpC_7o

More smilies. Foe lists so I can block certain users posts.

if you find a phpbb3 compatible smiley pack and other people want it, I'll stick it in. foe lists are dumb. if anyone gets really stupid, I can just ban them. I don't think the board will ever be big enough to warrant a foe list. people will just use them for stupid jokes that will end up in miscommunications. and it might hurt some feelingz

The point of having a foe is to fight them, not ignore them!

When somebody does something embarrassing they should get a user title in reference to it. For example, Ausin's could be "Lighter then several chickens."

tyler are you able to send out a mass email to everyone who has registered?

since the board has a sizable chunk of material to read and reply to now, maybe it would be a good idea to remind all of those 60 registered users to come and take another look and try posting and introduce themselves. theres a lot of 1 hit wonders in there or people that didnt even post at all

i theink it should have an automatic blocker for racists/homophobes. i wish there was a way to blow their computar up haha!

Tyler and I made sure that anyone who drops a racist/homophobic word gets called out immediately. Certain words are bannable, and will be very obviously so when used.

However, that doesn't in anyway seem to be a problem here, yet, so I'm not worried. We're ready for them if it happens, but so far so good. Good crowd we have here.
