I feel like clearing the pit is preventing whatever is happening in these photos from happening at the events we frequent.

also listening to fall in archaea right now. I am not into the super high noodly stuff but the mosh metal parts are so fun.

yeah, some weird stuff happened at that fest with the light boxes. I think it's been sorted out now? kind of created more of a divide between this advertise-yourself-everywhere kind of scene metalcore and the diy-but-we-never-do-anything hardcore of victoria. I think we should mix more bands like these on bills for sure.

I am pretty sure this is a very strong girl-to-guy ratio (based on my ignorant gender binary assumptions that society taught me) and I think that's a really good thing (the strong female presence, not my ignorant gender binary assumptions).

there is a really awesome band called Bombs Over Rome that I want to play a show with but I think some other members of this board have beef or something? they rule though. there was this band called Covalent that I thought it might be fun to put on a show or something but I guess they just broke up? I think Unicron and Fall In Archaea are pretty huge and probably don't care to play the smaller shows we do. I will infiltrate this music scene and report back on the other bands.

i can tell you right now from my experience with then, It wouldnt be very hard to get unicron to play a show.

and you guys should have gotten bombs over rome to play shows when i was the vocalist, then that particular person that people are beefing with wouldn't have been there.

Excuse me? Maybe you meant to say "diy-but-we-never-do-anything-except-for-the-same-handful-of-people-who-do everything-and-without-whom-vihc-wouldn't-currently-exist". I'm sure that's what you meant to say. It would be absurd for you to have meant to say anything else.
