no worries dude, hope you guys are able to resolve things and can at least jam there in peace. we have the option of moving it to campbell river as a last resort but i'm not sure if i see that happening.

Yeah, there's some old folks just moved in around the corner. We've tried talking to them, fitting our jams to schedules that work, gave them our phone number to call us if it's too loud. They just call the cops, pretty much refuse to meet us halfway on anything. We've managed to procure some mattresses that we've stuffed in doorways so we can possibly jam (although not late), but looks like shows are a no go for the time being.

Have you tried any of the legit venues? Legion? Sunset Room? Vic Events Center? Ambrosia? There are actually lots of venues in town who will rent out to punk/metal shows without batting an eyelash if they're available.

I think it has more to do with lack of funds rather than lack of options. Could be wrong, though.

yeah i can't afford to drop $300+ on a venue, especially with another show i'm doing a couple weeks later now being at a "real" venue... something will get figured out though.

Hey everyone, this has been moved to our beloved Troyler House aka The Legendary Castle. Sixbrewbantha is now no longer playing so you'll have to come out on August 1st if you wanna see us. Everyone give Troy a big hug for saving this show.
