I really liked the Palladium gaming system, the only thing I really disliked about it was mega-damage. I hope they've done away with it in updated versions of the game.

everyone's main gripe about this game is how 'unbalanced' and 'unfair' it is. Guess what the deal is with mega damage? If you are a human, and get shot with a fucking plasma rifle and aren't wearing armor, do not pass go, do not collect $200; you fucking blow up and die. guess what my character does when my armor is almost depleted? I run for my fucking life. Fist fight in a bar in my civies? That is what my hitpoints are for. Not for a futuristic sci-fi mega-weapon.
