Radical theatre?

This might not be the best place to put this up, but I get a feeling it could be.
For sometime now I've been wanting to make a theatre group which is politically-minded. That is to say in the same way which punk music can address the ills and problems of society, so too can this group. It's punk and it's theatre. I think live theatre gets a bad rap, and while improvised theatre is a bit better, I think this is something which a community like Victoria would really dig into. Things like Theatre of the Oppressed ( http://youtu.be/3rkVD_Oln7g ) and other sorts of improvised-related practices are something I'm a bit more knowledgeable of (goin' on 9 years of performing), but I would be up to start a group and see where it goes. I think it could be something really fun, eye-opening, and unique if others are interested.

Not my bag, but this could be a pretty rad idea. Have you thought of maybe doing a theater related workshop through the Camas Freeskool, and then forming a group through that? I'm pretty sure the people interested in something like a "Theater as Activism" workshop would be down for actually doing it.
