I really wouldn't count on me to be your promotional team, you might actually have to go postering yourself on this one. This is in no way related to my enthusiasm for this show, which I would rate skull/10.

Ha come on Scott this is 2012, posters and handbills are soooo over. All you need these days is a slick looking Facebook event page and hundreds of kids are guaranteed to show up!

This is sadly truer than most think. I printed 30 posters for the show on Saturday and I really only needed a fraction of that (posters for performers, talks cheap, ditch, lyles, various tattoo parlors, etc.)

What the fuck happened to the turnout last night? I was expecting way more people to come out for this. Is everyone working evening shifts now?
CSTL: Twin metronome rhythm drift shit, spacey and weird.
NORTHERN: Post-black-metal? Long dirge riffs and lots of widdly widdly to go around.
THRONES: Everything I wished Bestial Sanctuary could have been. Joe Preston rocks a vocoder WAY better than I do. Sick shirt design too.
HELMS ALEE: Lurching sludge doom. Not a diss, but instantly recognizable as a PNW metal band (it's that sound, man.)

i had so much fun, lost some money, less than what it would have cost to ferry to vancouver and have a meal/stay the night, so i'm not upset.
helms alee were great, thrones were heavy as fuck. CSTL's set was super different from what he has done in the past which was awesome. nice to see him doing different stuff. joe and the helms were all super awesome to work with and really nice people. i hope they want to come back.

this show was too much fucking fun. it was "I got to work 2 hours late the next day" fun.
