That's all she wrote, folks. Thanks to everbody who came out to see us play, shared the stage with us, bought merch, or even just said "hey, I like your band." It meant the world.

Reece felt that being asked not to use homophobic or misogynist slurs around us, or not not use such language to represent No Eulogy was an unfair restriction on his personal autonomy. Since that's pretty at odds with just about everything No Eulogy stood for, we couldn't continue as a band in good conscience.
No official last show?
Given that Reece's response to being asked to voluntarily edit such language out of his speech when he was around us or representing us was to say
if you don't want to associate with someone who will speak freely then choose not too, stop restraining my actions and make your own,
I don't see how there's any possibility of that.

It sucks, and I'm sad about it, but sometimes people just turn out not to be the person you thought you knew. I'd also like to make it clear that this had been an on going conversation with him for several weeks, and all anybody asked him to do was to be a little more mindful of the language he used and how it made the people around him feel. I'm not sure why it was so important to him to use such language that he'd choose it over his friends or his bands, but that's his right. It's disappointing to me that a person I knew to be otherwise kind, compassionate and sensitive would be so stubborn about something like this or why he felt it was so unreasonable to not use language that his friends find offensive, but to be totally honest I have enough real problems to worry about than to continue trying to protect him from himself. All I can do now is wish him the best in his future projects and hope that some day he decides to try and make things right.

What Zach said. I also am sad, but am already getting stoked on starting new projects. Gonna be a fun summer of creating.

this bums me out. this was a band I genuinely liked and was my favourite of the Willa-fronted projects. I hope this doesn't carry over too much onto the board and that you are all able to remain friends to some degree. are there going to be new bands born out of this?

I'd like for there to be other bands coming. Right now I kind of just want to take a bit of break and hang out with Rocky, but I'd like to start another band in the not to distant future. I'm planning on buying (financing?) a new guitar, and there's no point in not putting it use. Willa is taking drum lessons so we'll see where that goes, who knows? Reece is still in Azotobacter, and I Scott is still doing Galdra, and I guess Shadow Run is playing shows again.

you guys are fucking sad. you wanna air personal shit to all the people we know like we are in high school sure.

i was sick of justin blimpson speaking down to me like he does with 98% of people, so i told him to not tell me how to live in my house, do not show up unannounced and give me and my roomates shit for how we feel comfortable living. no one asks him to come over yet he is over 3 to 4 times a week. that is why i am done and will not back down, its been too long knowing and putting up with that guy for him to react in a childish fucking way.

i will say un pc things around people im comfortable with because i see no harm in that and i feel no need to explain myself.

what broke the band up is me posting "no eulogy is now ex - cuntrocity" as a fucking joke
