Start a band?

Post by Deadbeat »

I moved to Vancouver a few months ago and I'm itchin to get behind the drums again. Dunno if I'll have time after the holidays yet but in theory is there anyone on here from the mainland who'd want to start a Coke Bust, Punch, Infest, etc worship band aka short songs with mosh/punk/blast riffs? I know this board is for the island but I heard there's folks from Van on here too so fuuuckit.

Hey man as long as you play fast I'm down, I play bass but I've been writing lyrics and would love to yell. If you're a straight edge dude it would be a bonus cuz I have some edge songs already but if not it's totally cool cuz I can write other shit! I also am tight with a lot of other solid musicians so filling out the band would be easy.

I'm not edge but I've got respect for people who are as long as you aren't a total dickslap about it, like any sort of beliefs.
As far as previous bands:
Here's a video from the last gig of my old Death Metal band Mark of Cain
And I was the drummer in Wake up to this split
and I played guitar in a Spazz worship band called Gummers

Your drumming is tight.
If I wasn't broke and all my stuff wasn't in the states I'd start a band with you. Sorry I know that's not helpful.
