Pretty popular thread idea for a board based around hardcore punk rock, hey? Some of you mooks must be into fitness, your world can't entirely revolve around Jawbreaker tattoos and D&D. Do you guys have tips about workout regimes, or any guidance when getting into the fitness world?

I walk for like 6 hours a day. It's how I maintain my slim physique.

Dude Troy, my exroommate and I (Joe) are going to gym it up in the new year, let's get a crew going. We have to start shaving our heads and listening to Blasphemy though.

100% vegan. I will tell you the brand when I get home. Here it's like 25$ a tub. It will last you over a month (depending on how much you use it)

I'm about to start going to the gym. Haven't been in like 5 years, and haven't had regular exercise in 2. It's a wonder how I got so out of shape

What is your chief goal for introducing exercise to your routine? (weight loss, stamina, energy, etc.)

Is the vegan protein powder you're talking about Vega? I recommend Vega. The berry flavor, as the others are kinda heinous.

If you havent been to the gym before, most offer an orientation class included in the membership so you can learn to use all of the equipment properly, as form is very very important in preventing injury and will probably help you set up a routine based upon you fitness goals. Make sure you stick to your routine for a couple of months, it can take awhile for you to start to see results. After a few months you should change your routine up as your muscles will get used to it and you will stop improving. Make sure you give youself a day of rest so your muscles can recover in between work outs. Doing so light cardio on your days off will help your muscles recover faster as well.
Make sure you stay hydrated, if youre thirsty, its already too late!

Vega tastes god aweful, I put it in smoothies and its stomachable. The chocolate flavor has to be one of the wosrt things ive ever tasted.

Yeah, mixing it with water and drinking it (as the container recommends) is terrible. My Vega smoothie is made from almond milk, blueberries, a banana, sun dried sea salt, a cap full of apple cider vinegar, flax seed oil and raw agave nectar. If I have any, acai goes in there too, but it ain't cheap.
