Eh, I just don't like Bane. I have a lot of respect for what they've accomplished, but they just don't turn my crank.

fair enough. They don't turn a lot of peoples cranks. They still turn mine :) but then they are one of the bands that i first started listening to when i got into hardcore.

Road=what you drive said horse or vehicle on.

Not sure why but I put on friendship loyalty commitment on the way to the ferry on thursday and it was a pretty raging car ride.

Ignore every single thing posted in here (even the stuff i agree with). You don't need anyone to define your music taste for you. If you're curious about what other people are listening too, ask people you've met (like Willa), to make you mix cds/tapes or even to just hang out and jam records or hit up a record store. Go to as many local punk/hardcore/whatever shows as you can. You'll accumulate much more valid and honest knowledge and opinions through human interaction and listening to music via a medium other than the internet than you will reading a bunch of anonymous people argue about whether or not Bane is good.

Shoot me a PM or post in here saying what kinda stuff you like right now (don't be embarassed or anything) and I'll take a look and make you tape (or a maybe a Cd, but a tape is easier for me) of stuff I think you'll like.

i like that idea.

But i also put my ideas into this thread.

When i first go into hardcore it was from a handful of songs by some bands sent to us over msn.
Then went to live shows. Then borrowed cds from there on in / downloaded.
