VIHC.net VAN ISLE HARDCORE BOARD

Willa, Troy, Zach, John, Pauly and I are in the midst of creating the society. Now that we have our board of directors, we need lots of members! The membership will be free, because we are a non profit organisation.

We need any and all of you out there, interested in being or currently involved in our scene to become an official member and volunteer to aid the society when needed. (for events, general vihc concerns, fundraisers and annual meetings.)

IF you are interested in becomming a member, please EMAIL me (not reply to this).

I will need your full name, address, and email.

Once I have received your emails, i will send you updates on what we are doing, and forward any questions and concerns i may have for you about your position as a member/volunteer.

And most importantly, I will inform you of the first AGM that we will be having, in which a large number of you will need to attend.

There may or may not be secret decoder rings for those who join. Probably not.

Also, it would be rad if more than just the usual clutch of hardcore kids joined. Personally I'd love to see some of the more straight up punk rock kids get into this. And metal dudes. And hot babes (not that I don't think you're a hot babe, Ebony, I just don't want you to feel singled out as the only babe.) We all know people who are kind of on the fringes of hardcore and this could be a great way to get them more involved. People tend to care more about things that they feel like they're a part of it.

This. Know a kid into Pantera? Bring him to a show, get him signed up. Kids into the Casualties probably will dig Ruiner. Get them into it. More people, people!
