I think Kyle's more referring to classic prom situations such as mine, where about 30% of my grad class was on coke, and me, sober, just looked after my "best friend" the whole night who was having a bad trip on mdma. Also, I got in a huge fight with my girlfriend right beforehand. Woo! Prom! (only slightly jaded, no sarcasm)

i went to the afterparty at some barn out in the middle of nowhere were everyone did drugs or like, took off into the woods to bone each other

if someone had a memorable time at prom, well, I don't have much to say... Don't get me wrong, I love romancing high school movies and the such, it's my joint, but in reality, high school was a lot of people I cringe whenever I see (tambo excluded, though i don't consider us going to the same school since he was a lil' tike). Grad for me was sober as shit; I was still 'edge'. I actually had fun, but overall it was a joke. It's funny I smoked my first cigar that night, which sent me down the slippery slope to cigarettes. I guess I can say that one good thing came out of 'prom'.
