sold the v4 to some danish dude for more than I paid for it, it needed a detailed tuenup pretty bad and I wasn't prepared to invest a few hundred more into it.
I'm down to my ampeg vh-140c, this peavey, an acoustic 470, acoustic 134 combo, an orange tiny terror combo (for my apartment, LOVE it, got it as part of a trade for that sunn). and a few smaller combos that I really need to get rid of. anyone want a cheap combo? still have a DOD "Grind IT" that gets farty at louder volumes. not sure what's wrong with it but it's not really worth fixing. sounds fine up to 3:00 on the knob. I'd take like $10 for it. might package it with a guitar if I sell another on craigslist.
I used to own a marshall valvestate head that's been around the scene and owned by josh, john, hari, me, zach, and soon to be owned by troy. I guess I've owned a lot of amps. I'm pretty big on switching up the gear, I just love playing with it, but I feel as though I'll keep the ampeg vh-140c for a long long time.

Yeah actually. I have it listed these days for $225 and one guy who claims to want to check it out but I've had a ton of flakes who don't show up so far.

I'm interested in this amp. I'll be coming over to Victoria sometime in July, could I give the amp a try then, if you haven't already sold it by then?

Yeah, I forgot to bring it for Carl to check out and I haven't relisted it online anywhere. Are you interested? I'm almost considering keeping it and running my VH140C into it, with the output of each amp going to two speakers of my 4X12. It's be an awesome combination of solid state/tube power and give me 130W on one side, 70W on the other. If I could balance it, I bet I could get it really loud and get it to sound awesome. Haven't tried this idea yet.
Oh, ideas. Maybe it's not practical to lug two heads around. I wish I had a set jam space so I didn't have to worry about lugging things around.

Yeah I'm interested. I'll have to see how much money I have once my job is done in a week though.

Carl just got an amp so I think he's out of the running for this one.
BTW Tyler, there's an unloaded Ampeg 4x12 on ebay right now, if you want to get a cab that matches your amp and load it with your own speakers.
