Ampeg 8x10 - $500

Post by grind/bro »

I'm selling an Ampeg 8x10 for $500. Speakers work great. Small downside though is that one of the wheels is busted into the body. However, this is still a steal for $500. Figured I'd post it here first in case any of you know someone interested or are interested yourself...

The wheel bust is a common issue for the early 2000's cabs. You can put a board and reattach the wheels. Easy fix for a good priced Ampeg 810.

If it's an Ampeg 6x10 it's a whole different animal than the 8x10.

An old Traynor. I'm not selling it. I really like the sound out of it.

Ah yes, it's the Shellac bass amp. Great sounding amp, but needs more power. Bassist from Shellac uses a 400 watt Crown poweramp with the Traynor running as a preamp (that's what's inside the giant silver case that is his amp). TS50B? Well worth keeping for recording. If we lived closer to each other I'd bug you to borrow it when I record.

You can get a pedal version of the preamp from that head called the Tronographic Rusty Box.
