Re: Recent purchases
I bought 78 records today. Funniest shit was me buying sealed records (old and new) outa some crackheads mini-van in Mill Bay...I just kept asking them where they stole them from...they kept lying to me.

Wrong by Nomeansno on LP for $20 from the Turntable. They've got pretty much all their good records right now in good condition, worth hitting up.

Re: Recent purchases
Some recent purchases from my sojourn to Vancouver this past friday.
Internal Affairs / Allegiance split [Rival(ry) Records]
The VSS 7" (Gravity Records) - members from Angel Hair, Synthy hardcore. Also member went on to sing in Year Future.
Orange 9MM - S/T (Revelation) - Favourite Orange 9MM release. Good buy for $5
Racebannon / Song of Zarathrustra (Levelplane) - like these bands but don't think i have ever listened to this split
Heroin LP (Gravity Records) - excited to snatch up this
30 Second Motion Picture - Can't Kill Time (Spectra Sonic Sound) - Possibly the pick up i am most excited for. 4 piece from Ottawa around for like less than a year between 1997-1998? Ex member of Shotmaker.

SoZ are awesome. one of the older screamo era bands I can still get behind. if you like them you should check out old school An albatross. their newer stuff seems to have turned into weird rock and roll ala le shok.dalamar501 wrote:

Re: Recent purchases
i just ordered these. drum shoes. footwear is probably as important as what kind of sticks you use.
they apparently weigh 150grams. air vented and arrive in a condition similar to it being worn in. hope it was worth it.
