I've found that Israel tends to fall in the same categories as any other country. There's a minority percentage of incredibly right wing assholes who feel the need to trumpet their right to destroy homes and live as permanent occupiers. They currently control the government and have for about 30 years (give or take). There is a minority percentage that are vehemently to the left of politics (the guys in the band Dir Yassin are an excellent example of this) practice anarchist politics, fight the government and military at every step, and generally use their position of affluence (and Israel is probably the only country on Earth where being Jewish puts you automatically in a position of influence and power) to try and stop the horrors going on in Gaza. Then there's everyone else, who've been hammered by suicide bombs and government propaganda alike, and generally just don't give a fuck one way or another about what happens anymore, and just want it all to stop. They don't care how, they just want it to stop.
