Finally a band that is pretty decent is on the label again!!

dont talk shit about mastodon, crack the skye is a beautiful album and is still heavy.
also this pretty good, but devourment is signed to relapse so, they already have the best band ever.

After Leviathan, Mastodon is consistently the most boring band around. They're not bad. They're not good. They're just...there.

mastadon are boring.

at one point i liked a few of their songs.

then the new one bored the fuck out of me.
I saw them on that Dethklok/Converge tour

they were also just as boring.

i was at that show, they were the best part, THE BEST PART.

Mastodon released one good album: Remission. And it's just "good" not great. Most overhyped band ever.






Devourment though, now there's a band that hasn't released a decent album...ever.

i like em but ill say this, axe to fall was over hyped, also devourment is the best, you like minus the bear.

Yeah I do like Minus The Bear, but not so much the newest album, kinda not as exciting!

edit: Axe to Fall was not overhyped whatsoever imo, seeing them in Seattle proved that statement so false you would spit blood from the insane pit for that band.

this got off topic, this band sounds like a doomier pyrexia.

hmm, i saw most of it, wasn't thrilled, butI'm not saying die hard doesn't deserve the love it gets.

also, i liked axe to fall, but i heard people talk about that album almost a year before it came out.

it leaked sept ish.

so at most like 4-6 months before it was released.

It made every list as it is amazing. Dudes are great musicians and made yet another flawless album.

im not talking about when they first heard it, im talking about the hyped up chatter about "the next converge album" that easily preceded it a year before the release.

It's deserving of that though. It's Converge dude

holy shit this band sounds EXACTLY like incantation. I'm down.
