endstille's navigator is one of my all time fav's
and also 1349's hellfire and beyond the apocalypse. (yes scott i know its not their fastest but the riffs are soo good)
kinda digging Walknut but sketched out on their possible NS ties.
Barghest is kinda kool. from baton rouge. members of Thou. wailing vocals
darkspace is good to just space out too.
i was into Nagelfar for a while (not Naglfar)
pantheon-i has some good stuff. although kinda like annal nathrack mixed with 1349 and evanescence or something haha
Sarkom has some good blasty BM
their is some new anarchist BM-ish band from Poland called Tresckow thats not half bad.
a band called WOE has a new album out that i think kinda sucks but their old one was good

...a lax, overproduced album that gives off the impression the band has been caught up and lost amidst the void of mediocrity and the black metal archetype. If they're happy with average, so be it, I, like many others, prefer black metal to possess a degree of originality.

This is why they suck. Plus the drum sound is SO fucking horrible, it makes Krisiuns drum production seem natural. PLUS live they were a high fiving the audience at the end of their set "Hey guys we like humanity, we're hateful evil calculated black metal but let's give props to the people who bought our $30 dollar CDs and t-shirts!!!!"

i love their drum sound on hellfire and beyond the apocalypse. its probably cuz the snare is so fucking loud tho. the drums on liberation do sound like poo other than the speed.
