Anyone wanna start a trial worship band? i know Jordan probably wants to.

Start bands that sound MORE like metal! Start a Trial-like band! (I've been pushing for Promises to cover Trial... Influence on me for writing at least)

There are enough bands in this town. If anything, more need to break up.

Perhaps some of the ones you dont want could move to Kelowna. Our biggest problem is that we never have enough bands to fill up shows. Putrid Brew and Rat Wheel cant play every show.

If they were an edge band I would agree with you (so they could cover This Is Not A Trend). Since they are not.... cover WAR BY OTHER MEANS! or anything off Are These Our Lives? because lets be real, it's the best record from the 90's hands down.

No way! More bands gives bills more variety! Reece is right, start more bands, and try to not start bands with all the same people if you can help it. Bring the odd new guy or gal into each band mix.
Why is Tyler not in 6 bands?
This Trial band has to include Troy.
Gibas and Tyler should do a My Bloody Valentine style band.
Gibas, Reece and Scotty should do a band that sounds like 80's Swans and Killing Joke with Gibas on vox.
Tyler and Peter should do a Revolution Summer style band with Willa on vocals.

Bands that sound metal aren't good...?
There are just too many bands like that in Victoria...and not enough different bands...why start ANOTHER band with metal influences when Victoria has no decent punk, garage, power-pop, bubblegum, new wave, 80's styled hardcore, pub rock, oi!, etc, etc, etc. This town loves metal and indie-rock...I don't think it needs any more of either...
