New Killing the Dream

Post by xWillBrattx »

I received the new Killing the Dream LP in the mail today and it's awesome! I'm pretty shocked that they can keep writing and releasing solid material after being a band for as long as they have.

Has anyone else heard their new jams?

I can attest that this is awesome. Despite me making a different thread awhile back about the a few tracks up and people hating. This is a great progression for the band. Nice short length. I am digging the clean vocals that are tasteful. Sorry if you aren't into it. Cold Craving had some sweet clean vocals on their newest full length so why can't Killing the Dream just cause they never have before that?

Dude doesn't say fuck on this album!!

Part IV is a sick lead into Hell Can't Wait. Jammer of a song.

Walking, Diseased is just classic KtD.

I hope to see these songs live!

I remember buying the Self Titled shortly after it first came out while on tour in Calgary. That EP was perfect for me then because I was just going through a break up and the songs totally hit me where I was at. The next release was so awesome though. In Place, Apart is a really well written LP, and I love the song with the bro dawg from Allegiance singing. Definitely a crucial band of this generation of corexcore.

Will, hang outs and jamming this record should happen soon. From what I've heard (the streaming) it's a solid record.

Fractures was a great album
