yeah it is a pretty rad lineup. Not entirely stoked on awesome shows happening simultaniously, but regardless this'll be awesome. ive wanted to see knife fight since 2003, and this is the first chance ive had.

yeah i got tickets for the other show because i've already seen dropdead a couple times and while they're legendary, the creem/rival mob/omegas triple threat is way better in terms of action/satisfaction. also def checking out the no tolerance/boston strangler matinee. as far as i'm concerned, toronto still has one of the best punk/hardcore scenes in all of north america, regardless of what anybody thinks. shows like this are clear examples of why it's a great time to be here.

I didn't even know that Commando was still a band.

dude i WISH that the quebecois commando was still around, but actually it's a new band featuring jon sharron (of brutal knights/rammer/hacksaw etc) and al biddle (toxic holocaust/rammer) and clint from after the bombs. they rule, the buzzsaw guitar is oh so heavy. they were calling themselves kommando, but i guess switched it to a "c".

yes, keith, i would love to help you out when you get here. it's a big city, but there's lots of nice and cool people around if you work at it a bit.
