i also have just been listening to kick out the jams a lot / watching random videos of bands covering this song.
also hilarious that tons of people think it is a rage against the machine song.

these guys would totally be in a hardcore band if they were around in this era

Wayne Kramer. He did a couple solo records on Epitaph in the 90's too.
