don't forget that they're young and like a particular genre of music. i liked a lot of bad shit when i was younger.

anyway, age aside, they're my friends and i back them even though i don't care for their band.

also, collectively they have more talent than almost every band in victoria, which is why i respect what they do.

Mike Stringer is not only probably the technically best guitar player I've met, he's also a really nice, genuine dude. Back Mike Stringer hard.

They get more pussy than anyone on this board. They also tour more than any of us. Also see that they're doing very well for themselves. I might not jam them at all, but mad support. They will bring in kids who don't know underground fukkin hatred into the realm of good music. Be posi.

once they gave me their "old cd" and I was more into it than I expected to be. because I love cheesy super heavy breakdowns and some shreddin'.

this is weird. I feel like they've been listening to a lot of dillinger escape plan, which is a band that seems to warp everyone's taste in a bad way. SORRY NICK.

also I agree that the guitar player is a lot better than I'll ever be.

They're happy with what they're doing. Why aren't you happy for them? WHY RAIN ON THE PARADE HEY?

All I am saying is they do not need triggers, I didn't mention guitar playing or touring or anything......just the triggers which i like to hear with gravity blasts...but with breakdowns...agh.

I said again. Are they happy? Yes. Are you? No. Does that matter to them? Probably not. Millions of bands do this. Napalm Death have been using snare triggers for the past while. It's just music.

It's funny you mention this, because I actually got Mike into hardcore/metal when I was watching the DEP DVD for Miss Machine with Crusty Jay in music comp. class back in high school and Mike saw it, went "wtf is this, it's amazing" and so I sent him some shit, and now here we are. Also, I don't care whether you trigger or not.

I love when cats are all for diversity in the hardcore scene until they come across a sub genre they dont like.
Would like to see them on shows

It totally pisses me off when bands I don't listen to and play a style of music I don't care about do things stylistically that I wouldn't do. Every time I don't listen to them and don't hear the drum triggers it just tears me up inside.

Dear Nick:
Musical proficiency and "having fun" is no excuse for... well, for being in a band like that and being a huge manwhore.
Having said that, to avoid a flamewar, I should say I have nothing against the musicians themselves (save their supposed promiscuity, which I can never get on board with). It's their music, approach, and fanbase I do not appreciate.

this is for sure not my cup of tea. I wouldnt call it hardcore but thats just my opioion. for the style they are going for the may be great but I really dont know shit about the style they are going for so as I said before. not my cup of tea. bands with lots of html on their myspaces and endorsements sections tend to rub me the wrong way
