When Black Cloud was still a band the band down the hall from us would BUTCHER Blink 182 songs on a nightly basis. So funny.

You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

Dear Andy: REFORM RACETRAITOR.

Also, Pop is a genre. Punk is a genre. Mixing Pop and Punk makes Pop-Punk.

And 90's pop-punk is my favorite pop-punk. Jawbreaker, Dude Ranch-era Blink, Alkaline Trio, the list goes on. So good. SO GOOD.
Dude Ranch is my favourite blink-182 album. And blink-182 is my favourite band. Fast, 90s pop punk ftw.

My essentials for pop punk:
blink-182, new found glory, set your goals, four year strong, living with lions, the wonder years, daggermouth, all or nothing, save your breath, fireworks, bangarang!, beat kids, the ergs!, everyone everywhere, fight fair, the fullblast, latterman, a loss for words, midtown, saves the day, shook ones, the swellers, this time next year, title fight, transit, with the punches, worth while (i highly recommend this band for the kids in this forum).

yeah

That's easy, the greatest music style ever played is jazz, and an easy starting point is Blue Note era Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Charlie Parker, followed closely by Charles Mingus and Chet Baker.

No one mention Piebald yet? There was a time that Piebald were loved in Vancouver. Their later records were more cheeky bland rock, but their first couple full lengths were good and their first 7" is still a fave of mine.

I wouldn't categorize these bands as pop punk Troy, but bands that come to mind in a similar vein as these bands you might want to check out would be Elliot, Heatmiser and (locals) By A Thread.
