I picked up Still Dangerous at Ditch today. Usually I don't like live albums, but this one is just about perfect.

i saw that there the other day but was confused about it because its a Bootleg.ZACH ATTACK wrote:I picked up Still Dangerous at Ditch today. Usually I don't like live albums, but this one is just about perfect.
im not sure what the deal with it is, i think its essentially Live & Dangerous no? but added things... or a different source recording... im not even sure.
eitherway i bet it rules. Live & Dangerous is one of the few live albums i have kept on my computer. Phil's stage banter is nothing short of charming and its not at one point remotely annoying between songs

It has different source recordings, all of which were previously unreleased, so it's more like a sequel to Live and Dangerous. It also doesn't have any studio overdubs, so it's probably a better representation of the Thin Lizzy live experience.

The opening chords of Jailbreak have started living room moshes in these parts.

Then you'll go from being lonely to wishing that everybody would just fuck off because their a bunch of fucking buzzkills going on about how 'you've got a problem" and they "just want to be their to help you". You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

i don't like jailbreak (song, not album) and i'm sick of boys are back (i still think it's great), but thin lizzy is 100% one of my favourite bands ever.
