I picked up Still Dangerous at Ditch today. Usually I don't like live albums, but this one is just about perfect.

i saw that there the other day but was confused about it because its a Bootleg.

im not sure what the deal with it is, i think its essentially Live & Dangerous no? but added things... or a different source recording... im not even sure.

eitherway i bet it rules. Live & Dangerous is one of the few live albums i have kept on my computer. Phil's stage banter is nothing short of charming and its not at one point remotely annoying between songs

"heyyyaa, yer clappin your hands for us!"

It has different source recordings, all of which were previously unreleased, so it's more like a sequel to Live and Dangerous. It also doesn't have any studio overdubs, so it's probably a better representation of the Thin Lizzy live experience.

i don't like jailbreak (song, not album) and i'm sick of boys are back (i still think it's great), but thin lizzy is 100% one of my favourite bands ever.

Classic recording from the US "Bad Reputation" tour 1977. Line-Up is
Lynott/Downey/Gorham/Robertson.

According to the band's own statement these tracks are left the way the output
on "Live & Dangerous" was meant to be: Raw, unadulterated and untouched.

Produced by Glyn Johns and Scott Gorham, mixed by Glyn Johns.

Vinyl comes with a bonus 7" featuring:
1. Emerald
2. Bad Reputation
nice. this seems to be official not even a bootleg too. i might have to go get this now did they have other copies zach?
