"useless limbs" is the name. it's dark, heavy, fast, and still pretty loma prieta-ish. I like the new direction they're going in and I want to start a band that worships the style of that one track, haha.

I love this band a lot and it was great to bring them here even in the face of lower attendance (the troyler shows have been having more people) and rainfest happening at the same time (attn: troy). val says they'd like to come back and have me do another show next time they hit the northwest. stoked.

dude there are three new songs up, and this record is going to fucking rule vagina from east to west coast.

i know! i wish i could have seen that Touche Amore/Loma Prieta/Gorlock show that happened this weekend in LA. i would have shot blood out of my face.

yeah, loma prieta had test presses and a limited last overrun of last city for sale at that show. I'm not normally that into collecting variations but I already have a last city test press and some other rare shit of theirs.

Looking forward to the new record too.

BTW, the drummer from LP also plays in Punch, another great band worth checking out.

I agree that punch aren't bad. I wouldn't say they're overrated but I prefer the musical stylings of loma prieta.

Punch are excellent live.
