Left Bank Books. Every time I leave there I have a stack of awesome zines. Great place.

Went to some giant book store in the U-distric that was all super cheap. I'll try and find it.

Mighty-O's Donuts: all vegan donuts that are fucking amazing!
Pizza Pie: all vegan pizza that is fucking amazing (get the hardcore calzone... I dare you)

Brotherhood park (actually called Kerry Park). Great view of the city, see the Brotherhood LP for proof.

It might not be as amazing, but it's still worth checking out. I am sure you will find something you like.

that stuff is still decent. I find it's pretty dismal when looking for records though.

Are we talking lack of selection? I haven't been in ages, so I'm genuinely curious.

Singles Going steady used to be a killer store...filled the hole left when Fallout closed...I used to be able to spend $100 in there $1 and $2 7" bins. Pete, the guy who used to run the store when it was Rad, packed up and moved to Toronto, where he opened a new store called Hits and Misses...which rules. Last time I was at Singles Going Steady, I couldn't find ANYTHING I wanted to buy. I walked in with a couple hundred to spend, and walked out with nothing. If people in Victoria were more into punk-rock, I'd be running a store more like Singles Going Steady in it's heyday...
