why don't you just announce all the bands at once? Maybe this is me being dumb, but it makes sense to me to do it that way.

Because some people like to know ahead of time who some of the acts are. I'm not quite sure why it matters to you if we announce a few early or not.

i think he meant announce them all at the same time now. which is silly, i seriously doubt the whole schedule is filled yet.

I don't know I kind of like to know most of the bands playing earlier so I can book the time of work and put some money aside to come to YOUR festival. thanks for the attitude though

Yep and I totally get that, we try to convenience everyone that is comming from out of town but bands are unable to confirm early enough for us to announce the full line up 5 months in advance.
There was no intentional attude in my response, but it was in my best interest to defend my position when told what's 'best' by someone else.
Hopefully we will be able to announce as many as possible in time for you and everyone else to get time off of work but its beyond my control of how fast bands confirm with me.
