Especially if you offer to flyer and invite their youth? I would also add that you would probably have to have all your own sound gear, I don't recall seeing this in an abundance.

They were super amazing and let us use the gym on a slow day for free when my group and I were in desperate need of a practice space for our dancing. As far as I recall though the cost to rent is per hour and I'm pretty sure it's minimal.

well, hearing this from two people is pretty rad. i might go talk to them. The best i'll be able to say is that everyone is welcome and no one is turned away(unless they are starting shit obviously). Hopefully they'll have a mailing list or something and we can do a mass email to their members. something like that. maybe give those people involved in the center a discount on admission or something.

I do have my own P.A so that would not be a problem.

It would be especially awesome if a band like Head Hits Concrete played there.

so now I'm meeting with Pam Madoff (City Councillor) and Joan Kotarski at the Fairfield Community Centre. they'll probably just tell me that policies are hard to change or something but we'll see where this goes as far as opening community centers up to all ages shows a little more.

There is also Breafoot community centre, I believe both Brian and I talked to them about letting us do all ages shows a long time ago. They might still do it, as far as I know there has never been an all ages show there, I never ended up ever using it because at the time I just always booked with Fairfield cause they knew me and it was closer to town.

you are vey wonderful, all the help finding venues is very much appreciated.

this is 90% percent likely to be at the red door, only one more person needs to ok it.

but this is all great information in case that falls through.

Yeah I'm stoked for the CR show!

And Brain Fever asked me a second time if I would promote this show. I said yes this time. It's nothing to take personally, I think they just want to make sure that things go smoothly on their tour. If you want more details contact them.
