Wait, so you booked a show hoping that lots of people don't show up and you're upset because there's another show happening that you're afraid will take away from your draw? What is this I don't even is this real life?
I grew wings and a beak just to stay on my feet.

I dont have the space for 50 people, Im not worried about a decrease in people coming, Im worried about NO ONE coming.
if these went head to head, no one will show. guaranteed

looking into starting mine earlier so people have the option of both.
combinig only really works if everyone can join in, human and possibly jelly boyz would end up getting cut. and thats not really fair for either.
I'm sure Dead Soft and Jellyboyz could do short sets/share gear and this way every band gets a bigger audience and everyone parties together. Don't rule out combining shows because you want Human Demise to play if you think the consequence will be that they play to an empty room. What sense does that make?

But if a daytime show at your place can be arranged that'd be cool!

ive talked to Willa about combining shows, both could play but it would be really tight schedule, and neither have gear. wont work. it has nothing do with my band, it just wont work.

i can't imagine no eulogy having any issue with lending their gear out... if everyone's down to make it all one show you should definitely do that

look, I dont want this thread to turn into arguments. both show are going to be fun, right now its be scheduled so that they wont conflict, and other options are be looked into right now, but those are up in the air, so theres no pont speculating right now. tomorrow everything should be figured out.

everybody stay calm and have fun.

Hey, so I've talked to Wolf and it doesn't look like we'll be able to combine shows.

I'm really sorry this happened, I generally don't like to double book shows like this. However, when Wolf asked if I wanted Massgrave and Brainoil to play our house, I jumped at the chance. What can I say, these bands both rule.

Jellyboyz, I'm sorry I'm gonna miss your show. I genuinely love seeing you guys. However, there really isn't a massive amount of crossover in my opinion, so I think that you'll still get a good turnout.

Alexis, a side note, this could have easily been resolved quietly. By making this public you just made this more dramatic than it needed to be, and it came across as a bit passive aggressive to me. The irony of you asking everyone to calm down after stirring the pot in the first place is pretty heavy, too. Not trying to get on your case, just giving you some advice for next time.

That's gonna be a rager of a night no matter what show you go to. No need to throw a fit. Drink a beer and relax. Or drink a birch beer and relax. Your choice, really.

EDIT: Also, just to clear up any confusion before it happens, the only thing I have to do with this show is the fact that it's happening at the house I live at and my band is playing. This is a 100% Black Raven show, so any questions/requests should be directed at Danni and/or Wolf.

You don't need any of them. You just need drugs.

I was very stressed out, I replied each time it was suggested to combine shows because it didnt seem clear that it was going to work. also my first post was made before I knew all the things involved, at the tim all I knew was "shit theres another show the same time as mine"

my show is at 5:30 now, and will be over in enough time for people to get back to town.

I get that. But maybe next time, take a deep breath and get all the facts before freaking out, it can save you a headache later. Trust me, I'm the king of spazzing out before I have all the information. Learn from my mistakes.
